Pulipati Venkateshwarlu v. The State Of Telangana
HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.11684 of 2019 ORDER:
The grievance of the petitioners, three in number, is that the Tahsildar, Kanagal Mandal, Nalgonda District, is not issuing them new pattadar pass books in terms of the Government's policy which would entitle them to avail the benefit of Rythu Bandhu scheme floated by the Government of Telangana.
Perusal of the record reflects that all the three petitioners were issued regular pattadar pass books under the provisions of the Telangana Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971. As long as the said documents are in operation, it would not be open to the Tahsildar, Kanagal Mandal, Nalgonda District, to ignore the same and fail to take action upon the request of the petitioners for issuance of new pattadar pass books. However, as it is stated that the petitioners have not submitted any written representations to the Tahsildar, Kanagal Mandal, Nalgonda District, in this regard, the Writ Petition is disposed of permitting the petitioners to make a written representation along with the copies of their existing pattadar pass book seeking issuance of e-pattadar pass books as per the Government's policy. Upon receipt of such representation, the Tahsildar, Kanagal Mandal, Nalgonda District, shall take appropriate action thereon in accordance with the due procedure expeditiously and in any event, not later than four weeks from the date of receipt thereof.
Pending Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, shall stand closed in the light of this final order. No order as to costs. ________________________ JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR 13th June, 2019 dr
