THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION NO. 23729 of 2017 ORDER :

Heard both sides. With the consent of both parties, the writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage.

2.

The present writ petition came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus declaring the action of respondent Nos.4 and 5 in not considering the representation dated 13.06.2017, as illegal and arbitrary. 3.

Though various grounds are raised, learned counsel for the petitioner restricts his prayer seeking a direction to the respondent police to file a report as contemplated under Section 178 of Cr.P.C., at the earliest. Learned Government Pleader does not dispute the same.

4.

Having regard to the submission made across the Bar, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent police to complete the investigation in Crime No.67 of 2017 of Bahadurpura Police Station, Hyderabad, and file a final report as early as possible, preferably within a period of six months from today, in accordance with law. No costs.

Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, shall stand closed. __________________________ JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR 19.07.2017 vhb
