HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No. 11327 of 2004 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed seeking to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to modify the proceedings dated 03.10.2002 and regularize the services of the petitioner from the date of his initial appointment i.e., 30.12.1987 instead of 21.06.2001 by paying all consequential monetary benefits to him.

When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned standing counsel for the respondent corporation has submitted that the case of the petitioner would be considered in accordance with the rules in existence.

This Court having considered the said submission is of the considered view that the writ petition can be disposed of with a direction to the respondent corporation to consider the case of the petitioner for regularization of his services. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent corporation to consider the case of the petitioner for regularization of his services, if he is working as on today and if his services are not yet regularized, and pass appropriate orders, in accordance with the rules, within four weeks.
