THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE VILAS V. AFZULPURKAR WRIT PETITION No.24285 OF 2015 ORDER:
Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for the respondents 1 to 4.
The petitioners, who are appellants in Appeal No.Rc.No.A/1194 of 2014, pending before the Revenue Divisional Officer, Warangal District, the 3rd respondent, alleging inaction on his part in taking up and disposing of the said appeal filed by the petitioners for cancellation of pattadar passbooks and title deeds issued in favour of private party respondents herein.
Learned Government Pleader for Revenue, on instructions, submits that the 3rd respondent would consider the petitioners appeal by fixing an early date for hearing and pass appropriate orders. Since the issue relates only to the extent of disposing of the said appeal, notice to respondents 5 to 16 is not necessary at this stage.
The Writ Petition is, accordingly, disposed of directing the 3rd respondent to fix an early date for hearing the appeal, referred to above, filed by the petitioners and after hearing both the parties, pass appropriate orders in the said appeal expeditiously, preferably within a
period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
