Heard the learned counsel for petitioners and learned Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for respondents. 2.

It is shocking that a Revision R.P.No.P1/1258/2007 preferred by the 5th respondent before the 2nd respondent continues to be still pending on the file of the 2nd respondent though a period of 10 years have elapsed.

Though time was granted on 08-09-2017 to obtain instructions in the matter, learned Government Pleader for Revenue informs that the Revision continues to be pending and is not able to offer any explanation why it is still pending.

Therefore, the Writ Petition is disposed of with costs of Rs.2,000/- (Rupees Two Thousand only) to be paid to the petitioners by 1st respondent and directing the 2nd respondent to decide the Revision filed by 5th respondent before him referred to above within one month from the from the date of receipt of copy of the order after issuing notice to petitioner and in compliance with principles of natural justice.

As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, shall stand closed.
