This writ petition is filed seeking to issue a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to release and pay the arrears of salary of the petitioner i.e., Rs.1,82,000/- along with interest, which was due to him, and consequently, to direct the respondents to return his SSC original certificate to him or to appoint him in any suitable job in regular vacancy. 2.

Heard Sri K. Papi Reddy, learned Counsel for the petitioner and Sri M. Srikanth, learned Standing Counsel for the respondents.

It has been contended by the petitioner that he has been working with the respondents on contract basis since 15 years. The grievance of the petitioner is that during May, 2013 to April, 2014, the respondents have not paid salaries, and from May, 2014 onwards, the respondents have not allowed the petitioner to discharge his duties. Further, it has been contended by the petitioner that the action of the respondents in not paying the salaries from May, 2013 to April, 2014 and in not returning his SSC original certificate is arbitrary and illegal, and therefore, appropriate orders may be passed directing the respondents to

pay 12 months salary to the petitioner and to return his SSC original certificate.

The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents submits that appropriate action will be initiated in the case of the petitioner and appropriate orders will be passed accordingly.

This Court having considered the above submissions is of the view that this writ petition can be disposed of directing the petitioner to submit a representation to the respondents within two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the petitioner to submit a representation to the respondents within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On such representation being received, the respondents shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders within a period of four weeks thereafter. No costs.
