THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.14548 OF 2011 ORDER:

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned counsel for the respondents.

The present writ petition came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of Mandamus declaring the action of respondents in not considering the representation dated 06-05-2011 as they are trying to lay the roads on the irrigation channels defeating the main source of irrigation to the farmers.

Though various grounds are raised in the writ petition, the learned counsel for the petitioners restricts his prayer seeking a direction to the respondents to dispose of application dated 06-052011 made by the petitioners expressing their grievance with regard to laying of roads on irrigation channels on Vakkera Vagu situated at A.Gokulapadu Village, Kallur Mandal, Kurnool District. Without going into the merits of the case, the writ petition is disposed of directing the Respondent No.3 to consider the representation dated 06-05-2011, if it is made and still pending consideration, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of the order, in accordance with law. As a sequel thereto, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed. _________________________ JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR 03-08-2015 Nvl
