THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE K.SURENDER CRIMINAL PETITION No. 3157 of 2022 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C. is filed by petitioner/Accused seeking bail in the event of his arrest in connection with Crime No.39 of 2022, on the file of Narayanguda Police Station, Hyderabad, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 376 (2), 384, 417, 420 of Indian Penal Code. The said FIR was transferred to Begum Bazar Police Station, which registered the offence as Crime No.29 of 2022.

The allegation against the petitioner is extortion of money and cheating.

In the said circumstances, the request of petitioner for grant of Anticipatory Bail is denied. However, if so advised, the petitioner shall surrender before the concerned Court within 10 days from the date of this order and the concerned Court upon such surrender is directed to dispose of the bail application within three working days, on merits. 4.

Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is disposed off. Miscellaneous applications, if any pending in this criminal petition, shall stand closed.
