THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.V. SESHA SAI WRIT PETITION No.16787 of 2015 ORDER:
This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking following relief:
"to issue Writ of Mandamus declaring the inaction of respondent No.1 in not conducting investigation and not filing charge sheet in (FIR) Crime No.624/2012, on the file of Police Station, Punjagutta, Hyderabad, dated 1308-2012 as illegal, arbitrary, unconscionable, without jurisdiction of law and clear violation of Section 173 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, consequently direct respondent Nos.1 to 4 to complete the investigation in FIR (Crime) No.624 of 2012 forthwith and file charge sheet before the competent Court." Heard Sri Y. Balaji Vadera, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleaders for Home.
When the matter is taken up, the written instructions, dated 23-06-2015 furnished by the Sub-Inspector of Police, Punjagutta Police Station, Hyderabad city have been placed on record by the learned Government Pleader, wherein it is stated that after completion of investigation in Crime No.624 of 2012 charge sheet was filed before the Court of XIV Addl. Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Hyderabad city on 02-05-2015 vide S.R.No.1723 of 2015. In view of the above, nothing survives for adjudication in the present writ petition.
Accordingly, the writ petition is closed. There shall be no
order as to costs.
The Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
