This petition is filed for a writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the 3rd respondent in not considering the petitioner's case for transferring/posting either at Mutharam, Godavari Khani (West), Begumpet or Basanthnagar operation sections, as illegal and arbitrary and violation of principles of natural justice and consequently direct the 3rd respondent to consider petitioner's case for transfer/posting as a line inspector at Mutharam, Godavarikhani (West), Begumpet or Basanthnagar Operation Section.
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.
Sri Zakir Ali Danish, learned Standing Counsel for respondents 2 and 3 submits that in view of ban, respondents cannot consider the application of the petitioner for transfer; and that as and when ban is lifted the respondents will consider the application of the petitioner. In view of the aforesaid submission of the learned Standing Counsel, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondents to consider the application of the petitioner for transfer, as and when ban is lifted, in accordance with regulations. No order as to costs. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition, shall stand closed.
