G.D. Gopi, v. The State Of Andhra Pradesh,
HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE VILAS V.AFZULPURKAR W.P.No.30838 of 2015 ORDER:
Heard.
The petitioner seeks to question the resumption order passed by the 4th respondent as early as on 09-09-2009.
Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner was not given any notice before passing the resumption order and that the assignment pattas were granted in the years 1947 and 1948 when the prohibition for alienation was not there.
However, since the impugned order is of 09-09-2009, there is no reason to entertain the writ petition, after six years, especially when the petitioner can question the said order in an appeal, which is provided against the said order.
Hence, giving liberty to the petitioner to avail alternative remedy, the writ petition is dismissed. No order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
