Petitioner alleges that his grand father purchased lands to an extent of Ac.0.96 cents in D.No.47 and Ac.0.39 cents in D.No.273 totalling to Ac.1.35 cents situated at Kolagutla Village, Durgi Mandal, Guntur District, through registered document dated 30.08.1955. From the date of said purchase, the family of the petitioner is in possession and enjoyment of the said property. Petitioner now alleges that as a consequence of the Revenue Land Updation Programme conducted by the Government, the respondent authorities have taken away Ac.0.20 cents of land belonging to the petitioner and the same is illegal. 3.

Except referring to the photo copy of sale deed and representation made by the petitioner, no other revenue record is placed on record to, prima facie, show that the petitioner is rightfully in possession of the lands claimed and that the same is reflected in the revenue records, but erroneously a piece of land belonging to him was taken away by the respondents and therefore a survey is required to be conducted. Without having the basic details, petitioner cannot expect the revenue authorities to conduct survey and demarcate the subject lands as claimed by him. Thus, no relief as claimed by the petitioner can be granted at this stage.

The Writ Petition is accordingly dismissed leaving it open to the petitioner to work out his remedies as available in law. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, filed in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
