The grievance of the petitioner is that the Tahsildar, Kothagudem, Bhadradri-Koghagudem District, is not disposing of her application dated 29.9.2018 submitted in Form VI (A) under the Telangana Rights in Land and Pattadar Passbooks Act, 1971, whereby she sought mutation to be effected in her favour.

Perusal of the record reflects that the application in Form VI (A) was submitted in the prescribed format along with the requisite fee as required by Section 4 of the Telangana Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971, read with Rule 18 of the Telangana Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Rules, 1989. Having received such an application, it is not open to the Tahsildar concerned to remain inactive. The Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of directing the Tahsildar, Kothagudem, Bhadradri-Koghagudem District, to take appropriate action upon the petitioner's application in Form VI (A) dated 29.9.2018 expeditiously and in any event, not later than four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, be it from whatever source. Pending miscellaneous applications, if any, in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
