HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.11796 of 2019 ORDER:

The grievance of the petitioner is that the revenue authorities are not undertaking correction of the entries made in the new pattadar pass book issued to her in as much as her landholding in Survey No.17/A of Malkidanguda Village, Maheswaram Mandal, Ranga Reddy District, is shown as 'Ac.1.03 guntas' instead of 'Ac.1.38 guntas'. The petitioner submitted a representation in this regard on 22.5.2018 but her complaint is that the revenue authorities remained unmoved.

Perusal of the record reflects that the regular pattadar pass book issued to the petitioner under the provisions of the Telangana Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971, correctly show the extent of her landholding as Ac.1.38 guntas in Survey No.17 of Malkidanguda Village, Maheswaram Mandal, Ranga Reddy District.

In that view of the matter, it is not open to the Tahsildar, Maheswaram Mandal, Ranga Reddy District, to remain somnolent. The Writ Petition is disposed of directing the Tahsildar, Maheswaram Mandal, Ranga Reddy District, to take appropriate action upon the petitioner's representation dated 22.5.2018 in the light of the regular pattadar pass book already issued to her. This exercise shall be completed expeditiously and in any event, not later than four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, be it from whatever source.
