Petitioner claims to be the owner of the agricultural land to an extent of 65 cents in S.No.62-5, situated at Modekurru, Kothapeta Mandal, East Godavari District, A.P. For the purpose of converting the said land into non-agricultural purpose, an application was made by the petitioner. So far, no decision is made on the said application. Alleging inaction of the respondents in disposing the application submitted by the petitioner, this writ petition is filed.

Since application is already made by the petitioner for conversion of subject land into non-agricultural purpose, this Court is not inclined to entertain the writ petition and keep the same pending.

The Revenue Divisional Officer-3rd respondent is directed to examine the claim of the petitioner for said conversion, if the application submitted by the petitioner is not already considered and pending, pass appropriate orders and communicate the decision to the petitioner, as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of eight

(08) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this petition shall stand close.
