HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SURESH KUMAR KAIT And HON'BLE DR. JUSTICE SHAMEEM AKTHER WRIT PETITION No.18116 OF 2017 ORDER: (Oral, Per Hon'ble Sri Justice Suresh Kumar Kait) Vide the present Petition, the petitioners have challenged the order, dated 10.04.2017, passed in O.A. No.6033 of 2013 by the Andhra Pradesh Administrative Tribunal at Hyderabad (for short, 'the Tribunal'); whereby the O.A. filed by the petitioners, who are applicants 9 and 12 therein, was dismissed by way of common order in O.A. No.5136 of 2013 and batch of 8 cases.

Admittedly, the petitioners herein have filed O.A. No.6033 of 2013 with V.M.A.

No.2537 of challenging the proceedings in C.No.169/A1/2011, D.O. No.651/2013, dated 21.06.2013, issued by the 2nd respondent herein, whereby the petitioners, who are working as Police Constables at different police stations of Guntur Urban, were being allotted to Guntur Rural.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners submits that the main grievance of the petitioners is that they were being allotted to Guntur Rural from Guntur Urban without considering their seniority and calling for the options.

Learned Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents, on instructions, submits that the respondents have decided to call for the options from the petitioners and, further, she has assured to this Court that the seniority will be maintained in the ongoing bifurcation of the Police Executive Force into two separate units i.e., Guntur Urban and Guntur Rural.

SKK, J & Dr.SA, J WP No.18116/2017 Recording the statement made by learned Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents, the order dated 10.04.2017 passed in O.A. No.6033 of 2013 is set-aside. Accordingly, the respondents are directed to call for the options of the petitioners duly following the seniority in the bifurcation process. Accordingly, with the above observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.

As a sequel, pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
