HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITION No.9810 of 2018 O R D E R :

The grievance of the petitioner is that he submitted application dated 08.06.2017 to the 4th respondent seeking compassionate appointment as per G.O.Ms.No.118, dated 18.08.1999, as his father died while working in the MPPS School at Arepally, Elkathurthy Mandal, Karimnagar District. As the same is not being disposed of, present writ petition is filed.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.

Sri G.Narender Reddy, learned Standing Counsel for 4th respondent submits that petitioner has not produced any proof showing that his father worked in the said school; and that unless petitioner satisfies the eligibility, his application cannot be considered.

It is to be seen that the application of the petitioner is pending before the competent authority, as such, it is for the competent authority to consider the said aspect. In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on merits, the writ petition is disposed of, directing the competent authority to dispose of the application of the petitioner, in accordance with law, within a period of eight

weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No order as to costs.

As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition, shall stand closed. _____________________________ A.RAJASHEKER REDDY, J 23.03.2018 tk
