The main Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (for short, 'Cr.P.C.') to quash the proceedings in Crime No.306 of 2016 on the file of Kodak (R) Police Station, Kodad Town and Mandal, Suryapet District, Telangana State, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 468, 471 IPC.

2. Crl.P.MP.Nos.18649 and 18648 of 2016 are filed to permit the petitioner to compound the aforesaid offences and to record the compromise entered into between the parties and to quash the proceedings in the aforesaid Crime.

3. Both the parties are present-in-person and they are identified by their respective counsel and the parties also produced photostat copies of their Aadhar Cards in proof of identity.

On enquiry, the petitioner stated that a registered document is executed in favour of JSK Enterprises i.e., i.e., first party, as per the Memorandum of Understanding and in terms of the compromise dt.24.10.2016 entered by the parties.

Since the petitioner and respondent No.2 have compromised the matter at the intervention of elders and submitted that the dispute between them is entirely personal in nature, in view of the principle laid down in the judgment in Gian Singh v. State of Punjab and another1, I find that it is a fit case to permit the petitioner and respondent No.2 to compound the offences, as compromise has no social impact.

6. Accordingly, Crl.P.MP.Nos.18649 and 18648 of 2016 are allowed. In view of the orders passed in the aforesaid petitions, the proceedings in Crime No.306 of 2016 on the file of Kodak (R) Police Station, Kodad Town and Mandal, Suryapet District, Telangana State, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 468, 471 IPC, are quashed. Accordingly, Crl.P.No.15692 of 2016 is allowed. Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Criminal Petition, shall stand closed.
