HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE R.KANTHA RAO WRIT PETITION No.4545 of 2015 ORDER:

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned Government Pleader for Civil Supplies-Respondents 1 to 3.

2. This writ petition is filed seeking writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the 3rd respondent in not supplying essential commodities to the petitioners' fair price shop Nos.3 of Hanumapuram Village, 25 and 27 of Vellatur Village and 9 of Potlapalli village of Bollapalli Mandal, Guntur District, as illegal and arbitrary.

3. It is submitted by the petitioners that after recent general elections, due to change of political scenario, the 2nd respondent initiated disciplinary action in respect of certain irregularities against the petitioners. The petitioners 1 to 4 have submitted their explanations and in consideration thereof, the 2nd respondent-Revenue Divisional Officer, Narsaraopet, Guntur district, dropped the proposed action against them. The grievance of the petitioners is that in spite of dropping action by the 2nd respondent, the 3rd respondent-Tahsildar, Bollapalli Mandal, has not been allotting essential commodities to the respective fair price shops of the petitioners.

4. In the aforesaid circumstances, the writ petition is disposed of directing the 3rd respondent to allot essential commodities to the respective fair price shops of the petitioners forthwith. No order as to costs. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, in this writ petition shall stand dismissed in consequence.
