HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE GUDISEVA SHYAM PRASAD CRIMINAL PETITION No.8673 of 2011 ORDER :

This Criminal Petition, under Section 482 Cr.P.C., is filed by the petitioner/Accused seeking to quash the proceedings in Crime No.140/2010 of S.H.O., Kovvur Rural Police Station, Kovvur, West Godavari District, registered against him for the offences punishable under Sections 354 and 509 of IPC.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the 1st respondent - State submits that the police concerned have investigated into the matter and final report has been filed on 18.06.2011 before the Additional JFCM, Kovvur, West Godavari District. In support of her contention, she has also filed a letter dated 12.04.2018 addressed by the S.H.O., Kovvur Rural Police Station, West Godavari District, to the Public Prosecutor, High Court of Judicature at Hyderabad. In view of the said submission, since investigation has been completed and final report has been filed before the competent Court, no further orders are required in this criminal petition.

However, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has no information with regard to the filing of

GSP,J Crl.P.No.8673 of 2011 final report. In view of the said submission, the police concerned are directed to supply a copy of the final report in the above crime to the petitioner, if the same is not supplied to him, for taking further action in the matter. With the above observations, this Criminal Petition is disposed of. Interim stay granted by this Court on 21.09.2011 shall stand vacated.

As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
