Petitioner's case is that he is the President of Masjid-ERahmania Welfare Committee situated at Indiranagar, Ramanthapur, Hyderabad, that the said Committee had a joint account in Andhra Bank, Ramanthapur Branch, and that on 17.06.2017 some one withdrew Rs.1 lakh from the said account without any intimation or authorization. Petitioner's grievance is that petitioner lodged a complaint with the Station House Officer, Uppal Police Station, Malkajgiri Division, Rachakonda Commisionerate (3rd respondent), but no FIR has been registered till date. 2.

Counsel for the petitioner states that copy of the complaint is also sent to the 2nd respondent by RPAD on 19.09.2017.

Since, prima facie, the contents of the complaint lodged by the petitioner discloses commission of a cognizable offence, the 3rd respondent shall register an FIR, if not already registered, and take up investigation immediately. 4.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. 5.

Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending if any shall stand closed.
