THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTI CE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY W .P.NOS.6 6 4 3 , 6 6 4 5 AND 6 6 5 1 OF 2 0 1 7 COMMON ORDER Aggrieved by the notices dated 26.10.2016 issued by the 3rd respondent - Tahsildar under Rule 3 of A.P. Assigned Lands (Prohibition of Transfers) Rules, 2007, alleging that the petitioners have transferred the lands in violation of Section 3 of A.P. Assigned Lands (Prohibition of Transfers) Act, 1977, the present writ petitions have been filed.

The learned counsel for the petitioners submit that though the petitioners have submitted explanations to the impugned notices', without considering the same and passing final orders, the respondents are trying to evict the petitioners from the subject lands. Heard the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue. As per the submission of the leaned counsel for the petitioners, the petitioners have already submitted explanations to the notices dated 26.10.2016. Therefore, it is for the 3rd respondent to consider the same and pass orders in accordance with law, if not already passed.

If no orders are passed as on today, having regard to the facts and circumstances, the petitioners are given one more opportunity to submit fresh explanations to the impugned notices, raising all the

objections available under law, within a period of four weeks from today. On such explanations being filed, the 3rd respondent - Tahsildar, shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law. Till then, status quo obtaining as on today with regard to possession over the subject property shall be maintained. It is made clear that if the petitioners fail to avail the opportunity now granted, it is open for the 3rd respondent to take appropriate action in accordance with law.
