Petitioner prays for the following relief:
"... to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of 3rd respondent in not granting leasehold rights in favour of the petitioner society as per G.O.Ms.No.343 dated 10.04.1978 as arbitrary, contrary to the provisions of G.O.Ms.No.343 dated 10.04.1978 and also offends Arts. 14, 19 and 21 of the Constitution of India ..."

The standing counsel, on instructions, submits that the third respondent is prepared to act in terms of G.O.Ms.No.343 dated 10.04.1978 and consider the case of petitioner society for grant of leasehold rights in respect of subject tanks. The statement is placed on record. The writ petition is disposed of. As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications pending, if any, shall stand closed.
