Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor.

Having regard to the nature of the offences allegedly committed by the petitioner/accused i.e., Under Sections. 506 IPC, 3 (1)(r)(s), 3 (2)(va) SC/ ST POA Act (amended Act. 1 of 2016), the investigation shall go on. However, the Investigating Officer shall strictly follow the procedure contemplated Under Section 41(a) Cr.P.C. during the course of investigation towards the petitioner and the petitioner in his turn, shall co-operate with the investigating agency for smooth completion of investigation.

Criminal Petition is disposed of, accordingly. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
