There is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. 2.

The prayer sought in the writ petition is as under:- "....to issue an appropriate Writ, Order or Direction, more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, to declare the inaction of the respondent police in taking action on petitioner's complaint dt.25.3.2014, in spite of his repeated visits as being illegal, arbitrary and unjust and consequently direct the 5th respondent herein to forthwith act upon the complaint dt.24.3.2014 and to take action in accordance with Law, and to grant such other relief or reliefs as this Hon'ble Court deems fit and proper in the circumstances of the case."

Learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 5 placed on record the written instructions, dated 18.11.2019, issued by the Sub-Inspector of Police, Narayanguda Police Station, Hyderabad City.

From a perusal of the said written instructions, it is revealed that basing on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, a case in Crime No.215 of 2014 was registered on 19.04.2014 for the offences under Sections 448, 427 and 506 read with 34 IPC of Narayanguda Police Station. During the course of investigation, witnesses were examined and their statements were recorded. After investigation was

completed, the case was referred as 'un-detected' on 30.06.2015 and a final report was filed before the IX Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Nampally.

Since a final report is already filed before the IX Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Nampally, the remedy available to the petitioner is only by way of filing protest application, if he has any objections on the final report. Therefore, this Court is of the opinion that no further cause would survive in the writ petition. 6.

Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed.

As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
