THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P.NAVEEN RAO WRIT PETITION No.27137 of 2006 ORDER :

This writ petition is filed to declare G.O.Ms.No.2, General Administration Dept., dt.4.1.1999 issued by the 4th respondent as arbitrary, illegal, discriminatory and unconstitutional violating Article 14, 16 and 21 of the Constitution of India and to set aside the same and to issue consequential directions, restraining the respondents 1, 2 and 3 from imposing any punishments only based on the judgment of the Hon'ble Special Judge for SPE & ACG Cases Vijayawada dated 28.11.2006 in C.C.No.24 of 2003, till disposal of the Criminal Appeal No.1666 of 2006 and without giving any notice and opportunity to the petitioner to make a representation to the proposed punishment.

When the matter is taken up, learned counsel for the petitioner represents that the cause in this writ petition does not survive.

Recording the said submission, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
