THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO CRIMINAL PETITION No.749 of 2014 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., to quash the proceedings in Crime No.8 of 2014 on the file of Bapatla Town Police Station, Guntur District.

Heard.

The matter pertains to 2014 and no interim stay has been granted by this Court. On perusal of the entire material available on record, prima facie there are some allegations as against the petitioner and this is a matter which has to be investigated into by the police. Hence, this Court is not inclined to quash the impugned proceedings at this stage. However, considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the concerned police are directed to complete the investigation without arresting the petitioner and file the final report, if any, in accordance with law.

Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous Petitions filed in this Criminal Petition, if any, shall stand closed.
