Tabrej Alam v. Government Of Andhra Pradesh,
IN THE HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT HYDERABAD
FOR THE STATE OF TELANGANA AND THE STATE OF ANDHRA PRADESH ***** Writ Petition No.27679 of 2010 Between:
Tabrej Alam, Pochampally, Nalgonda District and others.
... Petitioners And Government of Andhra Pradesh, Represented by its Principal Secretary, Department of Technical Education, Hyderabad and others.
... Respondents DATE OF JUDGMENT PRONOUNCED: 7.8.2015
HON'BLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE DILIP B. BHOSALE Writ Petition No.27679 of 2010 ORDER:
Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that in view of the interim order dated 28.2.2011, nothing further survives in this writ petition. The interim order dated 28.2.2011 reads thus: "Petitioners are students. They were admitted to B.Tech. II year course by way of lateral entry. When their admissions were not approved by competent authority, they approached this Court and by order dated 08-11-2010, this Court granted interim directions to grant approval of admission of petitioners and permit them to pursue the course.
It is their grievance that though they have completed II year and also appeared for examinations, their results are not being declared.
No counter-affidavits are filed by any of the respondents. It is stated that the very same subject-matter came up for scrutiny before this Court in W.P. No. 24581 of 2009 and batch and by order dated 20-11-2009, this Court allowed the writ petitions. In the circumstances, there shall be a direction to the respondents to announce the results of the petitioners with regard to II year B. Tech. examinations and allow them to pursue the course pending further orders."
Having regard to the interim order and the nature of prayer, I am satisfied that this writ petition can be conveniently disposed of in terms of the interim order dated 28.2.2011.
Order accordingly.
Consequently, pending miscellaneous applications shall also stand closed. No costs.
