THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.SEETHARAMA MURTI WRIT PETITION No.9973 of 2018 ORDER:
This Writ Petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, is filed by the petitioners seeking verbatim the following relief: "... to issue a Writ, order of direction, one or more particularly in the nature of the writ of "Mandamus" declare the action of the respondents in not permitting the petitioners to run their theatres as per the rates mentioned in their applications though the G.O.Ms.No.100, dated 26.04.2013 issued by the 1st respondent is setaside by virtue of orders passed in WP.No.18779 of 2014 and batch dated 31.10.2016 allowing the cinema theatres to run as per the rates informed to the licensing authority as illegal and arbitrary and to permit the petitioners to collect price deemed appropriate by them as per their applications dated 03.03.2018 and 15.03.2018 and to pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit proper in the circumstances of the case."

I have heard the submissions of Sri V.V.Satish, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners, and the learned Government Pleader for Home (A.P) representing the respondents. I have perused the material record.

At the hearing, learned counsel for both the parties are in agreement that the issue involved in the present writ petition is akin to the issue involved in W.P.No.19046 of 2014 & batch and W.P.M.P.No.16343 of 2017 in W.P.No.18779 of 2014. A copy of the
order, dated 20.03.2018, of this Court in W.P.No.9115 of 2018, which was passed following the orders in the aforesaid writ petition and miscellaneous petition, is placed on record.

Recording the statements of the learned counsel for both the parties and for the reasons alike as were mentioned in the earlier orders of this Court in W.P.No.19046 of 2014 & batch and W.P.M.P.No.16343 of 2017 in W.P.No.18779 of 2014, this Writ Petition is also disposed of in terms of the said orders. There shall be no order as to costs.
The Registry is directed to enclose copies of the orders in the afore-stated writ petitions to this order.
Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
