Heard. With the consent of both the counsel, this writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage. 2.

Petitioner is claiming compassionate appointment in Eluru Municipal Corporation as a dependant of Dhaniyala Nookamma, the adoptive mother of the petitioner, who earlier worked as public health worker. As the claim in the writ petition is employment in Eluru Municipal Corporation, the jurisdiction vests in Andhra Pradesh Administrative Tribunal (for short 'the Tribunal') constituted under the Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985 (for short 'the Act'). The Tribunal is the Court of first instance and the petitioner has to avail the remedy as available under the Act. 3.

Having regard to the above, the Writ Petition is dismissed leaving it open to the petitioner to work out her remedies available under the Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, pending if any, in this writ petition shall stand closed.
