Since the issue involved in these Writ Petitions being one and the same, the petitions are heard together and are being disposed of by a common order.
Vide the present petitions, the petitioner - Institutions seek a mandamus declaring the action of respondent No.1, in not issuing affiliation for the academic year 2016-207 despite issue of G.O.Ms.No.15 dated 31.03.2016 by respondent No.4, as illegal and arbitrary.
It is admitted, in the affidavit filed in support of the Writ Petitions, that, as per the calendar for the year 2016-2017, last date of meeting of sub-committee of NCVT was held on 31.08.2016. It is further stated that, though the last date of admissions in ITI is 24.09.2016, even though respondent No.1 has not issued affiliation orders till date, which is in complete violation of the rules.
In view of the facts recorded, the last date of meeting is over, and the last date of admissions in ITI is on 24.09.2016. As the Writ Petitions are filed on delay and latches, they are liable to be dismissed and are, accordingly, dismissed. Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, shall also stand dismissed.
