THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.SEETHARAMA MURTI WRIT PETITION No.9942 of 2018 ORDER:

This Writ Petition is filed complaining inaction of the respondents 1 to 4 in registering a crime pursuant to the report lodged by the petitioners on 17.11.2017 with the Station House Officer, Aswapuram Police Station i.e., respondent No.4. 2.

At the hearing, learned counsel for the petitioners, while reiterating the pleaded case of the petitioners, would submit that despite the petitioners lodging a report in November, 2017 with the police, crime was not registered and, therefore, the writ petition is filed.

Learned Government Pleader for Home (TG) representing the respondents, on oral instructions, would submit that a case in Crime No.40 of 2018 was registered on 26.03.2018 and that investigation is taken up.

Having regard to the submissions, the Writ Petition is closed as no further orders are necessary in view of the registration of the crime. Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
