THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.GANGA RAO WRIT PETITION No.13995 OF 2001 ORDER:

The petitioner, who is a Post-Graduate Teacher, filed this Writ Petition seeking promotion to the post of Junior Lecturer in Telugu with effect from the date on which respondents 4 to 6, who are juniors to the petitioner, were promoted to the post of Junior Lecturer in Telugu vide proceedings dated 12.06.2000 issued by the first respondent.

This Court initially on 11.07.2001 while issuing notice before admission, directed the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner for promotion to the cadre of Junior Lecturer (Telugu) and on 01.03.2002 the writ petition was admitted. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner while submitting that in pursuance to the interim order passed by this Court on 11.07.2001, the case of the petitioner was considered and he was promoted as Junior Lecturer (Telugu), states that no further orders are required to be passed in the writ petition.

Recording the same, the Writ Petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous petitions pending in this petition, if any, shall stand closed.
