HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITON No. 25616 of 2002 O R D E R:

When the matter came up for hearing, both the counsel stated that the proposal dated 01.02.2014 submitted by the respondents-Corporation are pending before the Government and no decision has been taken by the Government so far.

At this juncture, learned counsel for petitioner submits that the petitioner has been working as In-charge Assistant Executive Engineer and that a direction may be given to the respondents-Corporation to continue him as such, till the decision is taken by the Government on the said proposal.

In view of the above submission, this court is of the view that the writ petition can be disposed of directing respondent No.1-to pass appropriate orders on the proposal submitted by the respondentscorporation within a period of eight (08) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. Till then, the petitioner shall be continued as incharge Assistant executive Engineer in the respondents-organization. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this writ Petition shall stand closed.
