THE HON'BLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE SRI THOTTATHIL B. RADHAKRISHNAN AND THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE RAMESH RANGANATHAN WRIT APPEAL No.523 OF 2018 JUDGMENT: (Per the Hon'ble the Chief Justice Sri Thottathil B. Radhakrishnan) We have heard the submissions of learned Senior Counsel Sri L.Ravi Chander appearing for the appellants and the learned Government Pleader for respondents.

It is pointed out by the learned Senior Counsel for the appellants that the award proceedings of the Revenue Divisional Officer-cum-Land Acquisition Officer, Suryapet, have been issued on 24.02.2018 with No.C/1747/2017. In the fitness of things, it is now for the competent authority to comply with any requirement to pay the amounts in terms of that order and also to deal with further proceedings in accordance with the provisions of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013. Recording that, we order this Writ Appeal clarifying that the Order passed by the learned single Judge will not stand in the way of such proceedings.

The Writ Appeal is accordingly ordered. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. No costs.
