O R D E R

(Per Hon'ble Sri Justice Sanjay Kumar) This contempt case was instituted alleging willful disobedience to the order dated 27.01.2017 passed by this Court in W.P.M.P.No.3192 of 2017 in W.P.No.2710 of 2017. By the said order, this Court granted interim suspension of the order dated 28.04.2016 passed by the Andhra Pradesh Administrative Tribunal, Hyderabad, in O.A.No.1712 of 2016. In terms thereof, the respondents had to release the excess salary withheld by them. As the respondent in this contempt case, the Superintendent, MGM Hospital, Warangal, was not present on the last occasion, this Court directed the Registry to take steps for issuance of a non-bailable warrant to secure his presence. Today, the respondent is present in person.

Learned Government Pleader for Services-II, State of Telangana, would state that the order passed by this Court was duly complied with and the pensionary benefits due to the petitioner have been sanctioned. He would further state that owing to banks' strike today, the amount could not be credited to the account of the petitioner. Communication dated 19.12.2018 from the Superintendent, MGM Hospital, Warangal, to the Deputy Director, District Treasury, Warangal Urban District, is placed on record, which bears the endorsement of the Deputy Director, District Treasury Office, Warangal (Urban), that 'Gratuity and Commutation Bills were admitted vide Token Nos.38948 (Gratuity 336666) and 38949 (Commutation 308750). Hence, certified.'

In the light of this communication, it is clear that the order passed by this Court has been complied with and the only step that requires to be taken is crediting of the amounts to the account of the petitioner, which has been held up owing to the strike by banks.

The non-bailable warrant is recalled in the light of the aforestated averments.
