ORDER

This criminal petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., by the petitioner/accused seeking to quash the proceedings against him in Cr.No.19 of 2018 of Tadimarri Police Station, Ananthapur District, registered for the offences under Sections 355 and 509 IPC. 2.

Investigation is reported to be pending. As can be seen from the contents of the First Information Report, there is a prima facie accusation. Hence, this Court is of the view that it is not apt to quash the proceedings at this stage. Therefore, the investigation shall lead to its logical conclusion.

Having regard to the nature of offences i.e., under Sections 355 and 509 IPC, the Investigating Officer shall follow the guidelines of the Apex Court in Arnesh Kumar v. State of Bihar1 and also follow the procedure contemplated under Section 41-A of Cr.P.C., during the course of investigation towards the petitioner/accused. The petitioner/accused shall cooperate with the investigating officer for smooth completion of investigation.

The Criminal Petition is disposed of accordingly. 5.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this criminal petition shall stand closed.
