ORDER

This writ petition is filed with the following prayer: "to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of mandamus declaring the proceedings in Lr.No.AAO/ERO/NDD/JAO/SERO/KVR/D.No.306, dated 14.10.2010 issued by the 2nd respondent and consequential action of threatening to disconnect power supply to the petitioner's rice mill S.C.No.426, Cat-III of Tallapudi Village, as illegal, irregular, without jurisdiction and violative of provisions of the Electricity Act, 2003, Rules and Regulations framed there under and offends Articles 14 and 21 of Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondents to continue power supply to the petitioner rice mill S.C.No.426 Cat-III of Tallapudi Village, without insisting upon payment of any amount and pass such other order or orders". 2.

This Court, by order dated 03.11.2010, granted interim suspension of the impugned proceedings subject to condition that the petitioner deposits half of the demanded amount within two weeks and the petitioner has complied with the said order. 3.

When the matter is taken up for hearing, it is submitted by the learned Standing Counsel for respondents that as the dispute is with regard to payment of arrears to a tune of Rs.1,70,939/-, the petitioner has remedy to approach the Consumer Grievance Redressal Forum, Visakhapatnam.

In that view of the matter, petitioner is directed to approach the Consumer Grievance Redressal Forum, Visakhapatnam, within a period of two months from today, and on such approach, the said Forum shall dispose of the same in accordance with law after giving

MSKJ, J W.P.No.27322 of 2010 an opportunity of hearing to the parties. Till the grievance of petitioner is redressed, the interim suspension granted by this Court on 03.11.2010 shall continue.
