THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE K.SURENDER CRIMINAL PETITION NO. 3076 of 2022 O R D E R:

This Criminal Petition is filed under Sections 437 and 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (for short "Cr.P.C.") seeking to enlarge the petitioner, who is arrayed as accused No.1, on bail in connection with Crime No.63 of 2022 of Jubilee Hills Police Station, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 389, 406, 419 and 420 IPC.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Assistant Public Prosecutor for the respondent-State and perused the record.

The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner collected an amount of Rs.39,00,000/- from the de facto complainant for the purpose of clearing the land issues with the revenue officials and he also impersonated as high ranking police official. The petitioner was arrested on 09.02.2022 and also taken into police custody. 4.

The learned Assistant Public Prosecutor submits that the petitioner is involved in two other similar cases.

Since the petitioner is in jail since 09.02.202 and he was also given police custody and major part of investigation is completed, the petitioner can be released on bail. 6.

In the said circumstances, the petitioner/Accused No.1 is directed to be released on bail on his executing personal bonds for Rs.1,00,000/- (Rupees one lakh only) with two sureties each for like sum to the satisfaction of the XVII Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Nampally, Hyderabad. The petitioner shall appear before the police concerned, on every day for first month; on every Monday, Wednesday and Friday for 2nd month and on every Tuesday and Thursday for third month.

Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is allowed. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous applications, if any pending, shall stand closed.
