THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.SEETHARAMA MURTI WRIT PETITION No.10042 of 2018 ORDER:

In this Writ Petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the only grievance of the writ petitioner is that the respondents 1 & 2 are not registering a crime on the report, dated 12.02.2018, lodged by the petitioner with the 2nd respondent - Station House Officer, Begumpet Police Station, Begumpet, Hyderabad. 2.

I have heard the submissions of Sri K.Manik Prabhu, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, and of the learned Government Pleader for Home (Telangana) appearing for the respondents 1 & 2. I have perused the material record.

Learned Government Pleader for Home (Telangana), on written instructions, would submit that on verification of the records of the Police Station including the Station General Diary, it is revealed that no such report is received by the 2nd respondent from the petitioner. He would further submit that the petitioner failed to file along with the writ petition any acknowledgment or an endorsement showing that the report, dated 12.02.2018, was lodged with the said 2nd respondent.

Having regard to the submissions, the Writ Petition is closed reserving liberty to the petitioner to lodge a fresh report with the 2nd respondent. The petitioner is also at liberty to send simultaneously the said report copy to the 2nd respondent 'Under Certificate of Posting' or 'Registered Post'. It is needless to state that in the event the petitioner files a fresh report, the 2nd respondent shall do the

MSRM, J W.P.No.10042 of 2018 needful in the matter, in accordance with procedure established by law. There shall be no order as to costs.

Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed in the light of this final order.
