THE HON'BLE DR.JUSTICE SHAMEEM AKTHER CIVIL MISCELLANEOUS APPEAL No.260 OF 2015 JUDGMENT:

The Civil Miscellaneous Appeal, under Section 23 of the Railway Claims Tribunal Act, is filed by the appellant/applicant seeking enhancement of compensation awarded by Railway Claims Tribunal, Secunderabad Bench at Secunderabad (for short, 'the Tribunal') vide order, dated 20.08.2010 in O.A.A.No.215 of 2006.

Heard the learned counsel for the appellant/applicant, the learned Standing Counsel for the respondent/Railways and perused the record.

The Tribunal, while dealing with the subject matter of the O.A.A, elaborately dealt with the injuries suffered by the appellant/applicant and rightly granted compensation of Rs.2,80,000/-. There are no grounds to interfere with the order passed by the Tribunal.
