2. This writ petition is filed seeking to declare the action of the respondents in collecting penalty of more than three times over and above the actual electric consumption charges in respect of the petitioner's service connection bearing S.No.V4018338, V4018339, V4018340, V4018341, V4018342 and V4018365 installed at petitioner's house bearing H.No.12-11858/1, Boudhanagar, Warasiguda, Secunderabad, without any power or authority as illegal and arbitrary and consequently direct the respondents not to collect any penalty except the actual electric consumption charges and further direct the respondents to adjust the excess penalty charges collected till date from the petitioner towards the future electric consumption charges.

3. At the time of hearing, it is brought to the notice of this Court that the issue involved in this writ petition is similar to W.P.No.308 of 2015 and the same was allowed by this court on 20.01.2015.

4. In view of the same, this writ petition is also allowed in terms of W.P.No.308 of 2015, dated 20.01.2015. Registry to attach a copy of the order in W.P.No.308 of 2015, dated 20-01-2015 along with this writ petition. As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
