ORDER

This writ petition is filed seeking to issue a Writ of Certiorari calling for the records relating to and connected with the Award dated 3.5.2005 passed in I.D.No.256 of 1999 by the Labour Court, Guntur, and to quash or set aside the same by holding it as arbitrary, illegal and consequently to direct the respondent-Corporation to reinstate the petitioner into service with continuity of service, back wages and attendant benefits.

Sri P.Govinda Rajulu, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that in the said Award dated 3.5.2005, no relief was granted to the petitioner; that even if the petitioner's service is counted, he is on the verge of retirement; and that the petitioner is entitled to the benefits for the service rendered by him prior to the date of his removal. At this length of time, this Court cannot direct the respondent-Corporation to reinstate the petitioner into service.

In view of the same, if the petitioner has not received the benefits for the service rendered by him prior to the date of removal, the respondent-Corporation is directed to pay the

said benefits, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
