THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE VILAS V. AFZULPURKAR WRIT PETITION No.5519 OF 2016 ORDER:

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Revenue.

On the basis of the decree, dated 09.11.2015, said to have been granted to the petitioner in O.S.No.4 of 2007 on the file of the Senior Civil Judge, Jangaon, Warangal District, he filed application dated 08.01.2016, before the Tahsildar, Cherial Mandal, Warangal District, the 4th respondent, under Form VI-A of the Andhra Pradesh Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971 (for short, 'the Act') and the Rules framed thereunder seeking mutation of his name in the revenue records and also for grant of pattadar passbook and title deeds and paid the requite fee. Alleging that no action is taken by the 4th respondent, the present Writ Petition is filed. It is evident that the proceedings under Form VI-A of the Act are required to be considered in a time span of 45 days. Considering the fact that the statutory application of the petitioner is pending since 08.01.2016, the 4th respondent is directed to consider the said application and pass appropriate orders, expeditiously, preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

The Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall

stand closed.
