M.A.C.M.A.M.P.No.4647 of 2017 is filed to condone the delay of 4,259 days in filing the main appeal.

In the affidavit filed by the appellant/claimant, no sufficient cause is shown for condoning the inordinate delay of 4,259 days except stating that the advocate concerned has not filed the appeal though he entrusted the matter to him.

In paras 5 and 6 in the counter filed by the respondents-Corporation, it is specifically stated that the inordinate delay of 4,259 days in filing the appeal is not explained property in the affidavit filed by the claimants and therefore it cannot be condoned in view of Section 5 of the Limitation Act, 1963.

Therefore, M.A.C.M.A.M.P.No.4647 of is dismissed.
