ORDER

This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.77 of 2016 on the file of I Additional Junior Civil Judge, Sattenapalli, Guntur District.

2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor representing the State.

3. Having perused the material on record, it is evident that it is not a fit case to quash the proceedings. However, on the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court feels it appropriate to direct the Court below to dispose of the C.C. itself as expeditiously as possible.

4. In that view of the matter, the Criminal Petition is disposed of directing the I Additional Junior Civil Judge, Sattenapalli, Guntur District, to dispose of C.C.No.77 of 2016, within a period of six(6) months from today. Insofar as the appearance of the petitioner is concerned, it is open to him to file a petition to dispense with his presence, on the days when he is not in a position to attend the Court and the Magistrate shall consider the same on merits.

4. With the above directions, the Criminal Petition is disposed of.

5. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this criminal petition shall stand closed.
