Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and the Government Pleader.

The petitioners complain against the inaction of respondents in disposing of the representation submitted on 06.02.2015 to the 2nd respondent, as illegal and unconstitutional. Through the instant representation, the petitioners, by setting out the circumstances under which the petitioners could not opt for private colleges, requested the 2nd respondent to pass appropriate orders on the request for admission. The representation sets out in detail the circumstances in which the petitioners were prevented from exercising the option. Early decision would help the petitioners to pursue their education.

Having regard to these circumstances, the 2nd respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioners dated 06.02.2015 within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
