THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.22855 OF 2016 ORDER:

Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Home. With consent of the counsel appearing for both parties, the present Writ Petition is disposed of at the admission stage.

2. The present Writ Petition is filed with the following prayer: "to issue a Writ, Order or Direction more particularly one in the nature of "Writ of Mandamus" declaring the action of Respondents 2 and 3 in interfering with the life and liberty of the petitioner and his family members as arbitrary, illegal and contrary to the principles of natural justice and consequently direct the Respondent Nos.2 and 3 not to harass the Petitioner and his family members in the interest of justice."

3. The grievance of the petitioner appears to be that respondents 2 and 3 are illegally and intentionally calling the petitioner and his family members to the police station without there being any crime registered against them.

4. Learned Government Pleader for Home submits that allegations made in the writ petition are all false and if the petitioner is to be summoned to the police station, respondents will follow the due process of law.

5. Having regard to the above, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondents-police not to summon the petitioner and his family members to the police station except in accordance with law.

Consequently, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in

this writ petition shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
