HONOURABLE JUSTICE G. SRI DEVI CRIMINAL PETITION No.3245 OF 2019 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, is filed by the petitioner - accused viz., Shanagonda Naveen, seeking to quash the proceedings against him in Crime No.372 of 2018 dated 08.06.2018 of Malkajgiri Police Station, Rachakonda Commissionerate, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 306 of Indian Penal Code, 1860 (for short 'IPC').

2. Heard Sri Police Venkat Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioner, and learned Assistant Public Prosecutor appearing for respondent No.1 - State.

3. It is represented that charge sheet has already been filed before the learned Magistrate and the same is not yet numbered.

4. During the course of arguments, though the learned counsel for the petitioner argued at length for some time, sought permission of the Court to withdraw the Criminal Petition with a direction to the Magistrate concerned to register the P.R.C. and dispose of the same as early as possible.

5. Permission is accorded.

6. Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as withdrawn, and the learned Magistrate is directed to register the PRC and dispose of the same as early as possible, preferably within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Consequently, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in the Criminal Petition shall stand dismissed.
