The grievance of the petitioner is that the Tahsildar, Medchal Mandal, Medchal-Malkajgiri District, is not taking steps to issue him a new pattadar pass book in terms of the Government's policy in relation to his land admeasuring Ac.4-30 guntas in Sy.No.38/3/A of Muneerabad Village, Medchal Mandal, Medchal-Malkajgiri District.

Perusal of the record reflects that the petitioner was issued a regular pattadar pass book under the provisions of the Telangana Rights in Land and Pattadar Passbooks Act, 1971, (for brevity 'the Act of 1971') in relation to this land holding. It is stated that out of the petitioner's land holding, an extent of land was acquired, but his rights were recognized by the revenue authorities in so far as the extent of Ac.4-30 guntas in Sy.No.38/3/A of Muneerabad Village is concerned. The petitioner seems to have made representation dated 28.5.2019 to the Tahsildar, Medchal Mandal, in this regard, but it is his complaint that no action has been taken thereupon.

Having already issued a pattadar pass book to the petitioner, it is not open to the Tahsildar to remain unmoved upon the petitioner's representation dated 28.5.2019.

The Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of directing the Tahsildar, Medchal Mandal, Medchal-Malkajgiri District, to take appropriate action upon the petitioner's representation dated 28.5.2019, keeping in mind the regular pattadar pass book already issued to him. This exercise shall be

completed expeditiously and in any event, not later than four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, be it from whatever source. Pending miscellaneous applications, if any, in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
